What is L-Mesitran?

L-Mesitran is a Medical Grade Honey-based wound healing product. Its antimicrobial and pro-healing properties results in excellent wound repair. Without any side effects, it treats a variety of wounds from minor cuts to large infected wounds.

L-Mesitran is made of organic honey which is sterilized with gamma radiation to use it medically. Its exceptional results in treating antibiotic resistant infections makes it a unique product to be used as an alternative or complementary therapy for antibiotics to treat all kinds of wounds.

This wound gel contains 40% medical grade honey, medical grade hypoallergenic lanolin, propylene glycol, PEG 4000 and vitamin C& E. L-Mesitran Foam

L-Mesitran Foam is a sterile non-adherent hydrophilic polyurethane foam dressing of about 3 mm, impregnated with the patented L-Mesitran Soft gel. It forms a cushioning layer that protects the wound from mechanical stress while allowing drainage to pass and has high absorbtion and high retention characteristics. It contains 40% Medical Grade Honey, medical grade hypoallergenic lanolin, propylene glycol, PEG 4000 and vitamin C& E. L-Mesitran Tulle

L-Mesitran Tulle is a non-adherent polyethylene dressing impregnated with L-Mesitran Soft.   It contains 40% Medical Grade Honey, medical grade hypoallergenic lanolin, propylene glycol, PEG 4000 and vitamin C& E.  As a primary dressing, L-Mesitran Tulle is excellent to apply on acute wounds. It can be used for both deep and superficial wounds with smaller and larger amounts of exudate.The Tulle must be covered with a secondary dressing and is intended for single use

L-Mesitran Border is a sterile hydro-active, low-adherence, honey containing wound dressing with an adhesive border. It contains 30% medical grade honey, an acrylic polymer gel and water with a polyurethane film backing, without and with an adhesive border. It is suitable for the treatment of superficial, chronic and acute wounds like abrasions, cuts, surgical wounds and burns. L-Mesitran Border is easy to apply, especially for difficult locations where regular wound dressings do not adhere. L-Mesitran Net

L-Mesitran Net is a primary open-weave mesh dressing combined with a hydro-active honey-hydrogel. It contains 20% Medical Grade Honey, an acrylic polymer gel and water on a polyester mesh structure that allows passage of exudate through the dressing.
